Frequently Asked Questions

• You must provide us with an external hard drive, USB stick, cloud storage access or other appropriate form of media storage so we can back-up your session data for you.

• Mastering will need to be completed within 5 days
• We usually recommend 45mins per song.
• If you would prefer to take your projects to a specific mastering studio let us know before mixing, that way we can prepare your mixes for someone else to master.

• Recording days are from 12pm to 9pm.
• Days are broken up into two blocks, recording component and mixing component.
• Options for sessions are 3 day back to back session for recording followed by a two day back to back session for mixing, or a two day back to back session for recording followed by a three day back to back for mixing.
• Bookings need to be no longer than a month apart.
• If you require a larger studio space the cost of the studio will be paid by the client

We have a small studio just outside Daylesford, Victoria where the air is crisp, and the water is crystal clear. The studio is surrounded by beautiful gardens, which really helps to keep the vibe calm and connected when you come to do your recording at Sine Wave Studios. The studio is Suitable for small acoustic recordings and all types of vocal recordings.

We have another studio in Reservoir, Melbourne that is primarily used for online editing, mixing, mastering and sound design.
