projects Online Editing and Mixing –

  • Send us the files you want mixed with the correct project details,

making sure to include:

  • Bounced MIDI, VST and effects channels. If an effect is necessary to the sound or production of your track (including virtual instruments or a specific key).

  • You can leave the effect printed on the file; however please also send a clean version of the track.

  • Dry Multitrack files for bands If an effect, processing or creative element (filter sweeps, delays etc) is an important part of the
audio file, please include clear labelling (eg ‘Dry’) to this version of the song in the ‘Reference Folder’ when you submit your project files.

  • Files in ‘Reference Folder’ will not be counted as additional
    tracks.

Correct Track Labelling

  • Make sure you label all files correctly and add any relevant information. For references, please add
these files to a folder named ‘Reference Files’.

Fix Tuning or Timing issues

  • Do not assume any tuning or timing issues within the multi-tracks can or will be resolved.

  • For small amounts of vocal tuning you can add this information.

  • If the engineer decides the amount of tuning
or editing will significantly change the mix time, we will let you know in advance.

  • Large amounts of tuning and editing on a “production” will be extra charged and will delay turnaround time.

Make sure you are happy with recordings before sending

  • If there is anything to do with the production that you are unhappy with, it is advised to correct this before sending to us for mixing. If you are unsure, let us know and we can help you figure out if you’re ready for the mixing stage,

  • if your concern requires replacement or over-dubbing, we will let
    you know.

Submit correct File Format-

  • We only take WAV or AIFF files with sampling rates of 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96kHz, and bit depths options 16, 24 or 32 bit.

  • Please supply us with mono or stereo files, named correctly, no audio clipping.

  • We require multi-tracks consolidated or bounced from the start point of your song (bar 1beat 1 or start time code).

  • Files must be of the same duration, sample rate and bit depth. We do not accept DAW sessions (i.e. Pro Tools, FL Studio, Logic, Ableton, Cubase or any other DAW).
